Dr. Econopouly has been practicing in Jackson Heights for over 10 years. She takes great pride in delivering the highest level of patient care possible. She wants you to feel though you were treated like family when you come to see us. She sees children and adults of all ages.
Dr. Econopouly graduated from New York University in 1993 and continued her education at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry earning her O.D degree. She was then selected to complete a residency at the Brooklyn Veterans Hospital for the treatment and management of Ocular Disease. Each year she spends over 20 hours on contuing her education through classes and seminars to keep abreast of the latest developments in ocular treatments and technology. Dr. Econopouly has extensive experience in dry eyes, keratoconus and difficult to fit contacts.

Dr. Nguyen received her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the State University of New York - College of Optometry and completed a residency at the West Haven V.A. Medical Center specializing in primary eye care and low vision. She has advanced experience in the treatment and management of ocular diseases such as Dry Eye Syndrome, Cataracts, Glaucoma and Diabetic Retinopathy. Dr. Nguyen is proficient in comprehensive eye examinations and contact lenses examinations and is fluent in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry.
In September 1999 Cosmos Eye Care opened. Dr. Econopouly has been fortunate to have a great staff who also affords her the time she is not seeing patients to spend time with her husband and three kids. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Greek.
